Our Story

Founded by a group of Oxford historians frustrated by superficial heritage tourism, fjord-quest emerged from a simple conviction: Britain's history deserves better than rushed coach tours and memorised scripts.

We established partnerships with private estates, heritage trusts, and academic institutions to create experiences that combine scholarly depth with genuine accessibility. Our guests don't just visit historic sites—they understand them.

Over nine years, we've guided more than twelve thousand visitors through Britain's layered past, from Roman amphitheatres to Victorian industrial monuments. Each tour reflects our commitment to authentic, thoughtful engagement with heritage.
